The first method is to prevent the conveyor belt from being subject to greater impact. The design of the hopper of the transportation system has too large a drop, unreasonable guidance to the coal flow, and a large amount of material in the system, which can cause the conveyor belt to be impacted, form more pits on the belt surface, and damage the rubber surface.
The second case is to prevent contact with high temperature materials. When the nylon conveyor belt transports the dirty slag coal in the boiler room, the uncooled high temperature dirty slag coal melts the conveyor belt cover rubber, which intensifies the abnormal wear of the belt surface. In addition, sparks and slag generated during electric welding and gas cutting operations can also damage the tape cover.
The third situation is also more important, which is the quality of the conveyor belt. In the manufacturing process of nylon conveyor belt, due to insufficient adhesive force of the rubber material, defects in the process, or inadequate control of a certain manufacturing process, the reaction force of friction makes the cover rubber gradually peel off, and the surface cover rubber will tear when it is serious.
